What is hidden under the name of exercise SM system/Spiral stabilization of the spine (SPS)? This is a sophisticated system, MUDr. Richard Smíšek, therapeutic and preventive exercise methods that ensure Stabilization and Mobilization of the spine (original name of the method). The new name of the method is Spiral stabilization of the spine – SPS. Active exercise (regular) will eliminate back pain, spine deformities and overloading of large joints (regeneration of intervertebral discs and joints). During the exercise, the spine is relaxed due to the involvement of the abdominal and gluteal muscles, the pectoral muscles and shoulder girdle muscles are stretched and strengthened, the broad back muscles are strengthened and stretched, the lumbar and iliac-femoral muscles are stretched, the foot arch is adjusted and subsequently also gradually adjusted hallux valgus (bunch of the thumb)
