Lymphatic massage

Manual lymphatic massage is a gentle massage technique that aims to improve the quality of lymphatic circulation and speed up the outflow of lymph from the subcutaneous tissue back into the bloodstream. The bloodstream carries impurities and toxic substances to the cleaning organs such as the kidneys, liver, lungs (gaseous waste) which excrete these substances from the body in natural ways.

The lymphatic system does not have its own pump. If it does not work or its activity is slowed down, residues of metabolism remain in the tissues. The body retains water. Fat cells increase in volume, forming fat pads, orange peel and swelling. With the help of targeted massage pressure and direction, it is possible to activate the lymph and achieve the removal of pollutants from the body. This lymphatic massage is performed using a gentle and precisely determined technique. Manual lymphatic drainage unblocks the main nodes and drains the drained fluid from the body through the excretory system. This method is natural and medically justified. It is not only practical, but also very pleasant and relaxing.

What is the lymphatic system?

The lymphatic system is the “detoxification” system of our body. It consists of a network of lymphatic ducts, which essentially copy the vascular system, but unlike it, it does not have its own pump (heart). The movement of the sap is ensured by the muscles, breathing and pulsing of the vascular system. Before passing into the vascular bed, the sap passes through the lymph nodes, where it is filtered and enriched with lymphocytes, which ensure the immunobiological function of the lymphatic system in the nodes. The lymphatic system is therefore a major factor in the body’s defenses and has a huge share in the vast majority of diseases today.

How do you know if your lymphatic system is weak?

Lymph load can initially be manifested by fatigue of the legs, later by the whole body, swelling of the ankles, especially in the evening and after great exertion, swelling of the whole limbs, later swelling in the abdomen, often attributed to obesity, swelling of the eyelids, nodules under the eyes (sacs), lymph nodes , respiratory problems without an obvious external cause, a tendency to infectious diseases due to a weakened immune system and last but not least, the development of cancer.
