The soft tissues are the skin, subcutaneous tissue, fascia and muscles. Ideally, they are flexible and movable relative to each other. If their mobility is limited (for example as a result of an accident or overload), they cause pain, but they can also cause various health restrictions in a reflexive way. Soft tissue techniques focus on restoring their natural mobility and elasticity. We thus support good blood and lymph flow, a good supply of oxygen and nutrients and the removal of metabolic waste products.
Soft techniques are performed dry (without the use of oils), they are intensive techniques that require the skill and feeling of a therapist. One such queen of soft techniques is the Trigger Points technique. A beautiful example of soft techniques is Kübler’s lash.
Just for the record – the subcutaneous tissue is predominantly fibrous and adipose tissue that connects the skin to the muscles and deeper organs, the fascia is the fibrous tissue that envelops and protects most organs in the human body, including the muscles.
Deep back massage is an effective therapeutic massage, aimed at relaxing the deep layers of muscles, especially around the spine, or in the area of the lower or upper limbs, depending on the problem. Deep muscle relaxation and elaboration removes spasms and restores the natural length of muscle fibers. Using not only hand, thumb and elbow pressure, but also other treatment and massage techniques are used here.
We use a combination of soft techniques to relax the subcutaneous tissue and perfuse the area. This is followed by palpation =removal of the so-called trigger points (trigger points) and their gradual release by calm pressure, which the client has the opportunity to influence. Furthermore, the client is instructed to so-called breathing – that is, learning to work with pain (often very pleasantly relieved). To make the intervention more efficient, we also use cupping, which cause a vacuum and further release at the time when we are already releasing another area. In the least circulating points, subcutaneous bruises remain after the cupping, which for another week or two indicate the place where the body should keep detoxification. Any faster strokes are used to blood supply and soften the area.

Trigger point is an area where several layers of tissue “stick together” due to overloading of different muscle chains, so that they cannot slide freely during movement. This causes a pull into other muscles, both touching and attaching to the affected muscle, and the pain is thus transferred to distant areas. At the trigger point, there is a reduction in metabolism, the tissues are undernourished, congestion fumes and over time the area seems to gel (feeling like a massage), or even calcifies and injures the surrounding tissues with its roughness – various growths and muscle inflammation. After some time in the self-defense, the brain ceases to perceive such a painful point, and only massage reconnects with the CNS, which restores regeneration.
– in case of muscle pain, neck, chest and lumbar spine pain, pain with radiating projection into peripheral parts of the body, muscle imbalance
– in case of pain caused by unilateral overload (sedentary work, work with PC, sport), overweight, defective movement stereotypes
